January Sales Haul

So we’re already saying goodbye to January 2018, and knocking on February’s door. How did that happen!?

Whilst trying to save money, I did have a little dabble in the sales this month so thought I’d write a post about it.

Highland Check Coat Joe Browns, Was £89.99. Now: £50 Savings of £39.99

I’ve not had a new winter coat in about 4 years, so felt it was deserved. I’d seen another one that I liked which has dropped from £50 to £35, but still felt it was too much to pay. So in typical Abby fashion, we find and buy one at the sale price of £50! But it’s tartan 😁so it’s worth it. I’ve never shopped here before, it was only by chance as it popped up in a Facebook advert. So I clicked the link and it was only available in my size- so it was fate.

I also received a £5 voucher too. The coat itself is a lovely fit, and the inner lining is a gorgeous pattern too, the package arrived in the usual (from what I assume) packaging which was super cute as it had loads of inspirational quotes on it.

Check Pyjamas in a bag, Boux Avenue, Was: £38 now: £12, Savings of £26

They’re tartan, and brushed cotton, and in my size. How could I not? Again, I’ve never shopped at Boux Avenue. But my experience is so far so good. Delivery was really quick – not bad for £2.99. The pyjamas are such a comfy fit, and they matched my brushed cotton duvet set from primark. Could easily wrap myself up in them all day!

Unicorn Moodlight, Menkind (+ various other retailers) Was: £9.99 now; £7.49. Savings of £2.50

I’ve wanted one of these for aaaaaages! But never got round to getting one. I’d been given some vouchers for Christmas so why not take the opportunity? I brought two of these (have to be symmetrical) these also look nice as a prop in photos 😊 so win-win

Trip to Vienna, EasyJet, Was: unknown rates can change daily. I’ve wanted to go to Vienna since Austria won the Eurovision a few years ago. Bless my love for cheesy European music 💖. I did a bit of research into it and the country looks so interesting. It was only by chance that we ended up going with easyJet, as it’s not an airline I’d used before. But there appears to be a lack of availability to go to Vienna from the North of England. So thanks EJ, for letting me achieve a dream. Managed to get 3 nights, bed and breakfast, seats and luggage for £313.99pp. Bargain! And I can’t wait to blog all about it!

Can anyone recommend what we should do in Vienna?

Do you normally splurge or spend in the sales?

Until next time
